Wikström has many years of research experience in the pharmaceutical industry from Immunex in Seattle, Pharmacia and Pfizer, mainly in the field of metabolic disorders and projects related to insulin resistance.

Walum is a professor in Neurochemistry from Stockholm University and has served as head of the Pharmacology Dept. at Pharmacia. He is presently employed at Biovitrum.
